Position: Marketing Manager
Flexi Software, a 30+ year old enterprise software company, has an immediate opening for a Digital Marketing Manager. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional who is passionate about B2B in the software industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in B2B inbound marketing, enjoy being creative, and be excited to play a pivotal role in the company’s quest to become an industry leader. The goal of this role is to increase sales leads and brand awareness by creating and executing lead generation campaigns and supporting all aspects of marketing.
As Marketing Manager, you will be an essential part of Flexi’s growth strategy and execution. Your priorities will be to continually increase website traffic, generate quality leads, nurture those leads into the sales funnel, and manage the company’s ROI in paid programs such as search/PPC, digital advertising and other third-party initiatives..
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage all aspects of email campaigns, including content, creatives and attention-grabbing subject lines, and measuring results with the goal of continuous improvements in open rates, engagement and ultimately conversions.
Manage Google Ads/search engine marketing efforts, software listing services such as Capterra/Software Advice, and other avenues to increase our reach and brand awareness among targeted audience(s).
Create, manage, and continually optimize all inbound marketing campaigns. Ensure campaigns are well aligned with product benefits, target audience, and sales goals.
Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure strategic campaigns are optimized at every marketing touch point, including website, social media, sales follow ups, etc.
Create compelling content such as brochures, presentations, infographics and other creative content to support internal and external sales goals.
Proactively plan and manage a content calendar, continually identifying new ideas and content opportunities to generate demand/quality leads.
Maintain websites, keeping updated with fresh content, regular blog posts, strategic internal and external links, and landing pages optimized for conversions based on industry best practices.
Remain current on digital marketing trends, always searching for new ideas to recommend to management.
Maintain and grow social media channels with fresh, regular content that adds value to the company’s audience(s) while adhering to brand standards.
Closely manage agency relationships to ensure efforts are aligned with company strategy and outcomes result in quality leads and ROI.
Preferred Skills:
- Comfortable with tools including Canva, Hootsuite, WordPress
- Experience working in an agency, or managing the agency relationship from the client side
- Knowledge of marketing automation; Pardot a plus
- Knowledge of SEO tactics
- Knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Advertising, and desire to continue growing in these areas
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the areas of inbound marketing, online growth strategies and/or demand generation for B2B, ideally in technology or SaaS for a financial-minded audience.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven track record of fueling growth and tracking results through strategy and execution of marketing programs.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Multi-tasker with proven ability to shift focus and priorities between multiple product lines with different value propositions and/or audiences.
Proactive, creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial “can do” work ethic and energetic attitude. Project management skills desired.
Knowledge of Google Ads and other paid search platforms with ability to manage PPC programs and continually improve upon the ROI of ad spend.
Social media management experience for B2B; social advertising expertise with LinkedIn.
Knowledge and proven experience optimizing websites and search engines for lead generation.
Understanding of Google Analytics, web traffic metrics and social media KPIs.
Enjoy brainstorming and proposing new ideas for successful marketing campaigns.
Disciplined, reliable self-starter accustomed to meeting multiple demands in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment.
Eagerness to continue learning and trying new tactics aligned with business goals.
